The Third Man: Graham Greene

I love the consistent use of imagery on the Graham Greene covers from Penguin Classics.

Not consistent, but still a neat image.

  1. FYI, those are all (except that last one, obviously) by the great illustrator Geoff Grandfield, who I had the pleasure of working with on Criterion’s “Green for Danger” DVD… and if you like the Graham Greene stuff, you’ll love the Raymond Chandler art he did, which you can see at his website: http://geoffgrandfield.co.uk/

  3. Thanks for introducing me to his work! The Raymond Chandler (and the other Graham Greene) art is great! So fitting. And same with the art on “Green for Danger.” Looks like that was a cool project. And a good movie — just added it to the Netflix queue.
